Mobile Nurse
Working with whānau who might need extra support.
Many of the services provided by Korowai Aroha are mobile with the focus being to remove barriers so whānau may access health services.
The goal of our Mobile Māori Nurse team is to help and support whānau wanting to improve their health and wellbeing.
Success stories come in the form of patients and their whānau informing the nurse they have quit smoking, the delight on their faces when they have lost weight or when high blood glucose levels are reduced.
For our team, supporting and encouraging patients in all these areas is rewarding. Korowai Aroha is active in the Community delivering free Hauora checks for anyone who attends.
